Plank Shutters

Plank shutters are made of solid lumber. There are no finger joints in our shutters. The profile is generally stacked, meaning that the horizontal members are on top of the vertical members. Pieces are fastened using exterior screws. There are a veriety of choices when designing your shutters. The edges of the boards can be squared or rounded over. The surface can be smooth and sanded or rough. The lumber can be clear of all knotts, or if you like can be very rustic with well picked knotts. Types of lumber include (but not limited to) Cedar, Cypress, Redwood, or Pine.
